The Lash Loungeby Shanie Smith

The sets

Which lashes are which?

Classic, Wet Set, Hybrid, Russian, Mega — the names don't tell you much. Here is what each one actually looks like and who it suits, in order from the most natural to the fullest.

A Classic set of eyelash extensions, shown from three angles

Most natural

Classic£45

One extension applied to each of your own lashes. The most natural of the sets — it looks like your own lashes on their best day, just darker and longer. The right starting point if you have never had extensions before.

Set 2

Wet Set£50

Spiky, piecey and deliberately undone — the look of lashes just after mascara, or straight out of the sea. Fuller than Classic but softer than a full Russian set.

A Hybrid set of eyelash extensions, close up

Set 3

Hybrid£50

A mix of Classic single lashes and lightweight handmade fans. You get the texture and fullness of a Russian set without going all the way — the most popular choice, and a natural next step from Classic.

Set 4

Russian£55

Handmade fans of several ultra-fine lashes on each natural lash. Dense, dark and dramatic, but still light enough to be comfortable because each individual lash is so fine.

A Mega volume set of eyelash extensions, close up

Fullest

Mega£60

The fullest set offered — larger, denser fans for maximum impact. Properly glamorous, and the one to book if you want people to notice.

Not extensions

Lifts, tints and waxing

A lash lift and brow wax result

Lash Lift & Tint£45

No extensions at all — your own lashes are lifted from the root and tinted darker. Low maintenance, nothing to infill, and it lasts around six to eight weeks. A good option if you want a break from extensions.

WaxingFrom £10

Brow wax £10, lip wax £10. Quick to add on to any lash appointment — just mention it when you book so the time is set aside.
